"The monthly auto-ship SmartPaks make my life easier because I never have to worry about running out of supplements!” "

"Ocean is a 15 year old Canadian TB that has been at my farm for about a year now. When he came to me he was very thin, cribbing heavily and had been diagnosed with ulcers. I started Ocean immediately on SmartGut and have been very pleased with the results. His appetite improved and he started gaining weight. It has taken awhile, but he looks great again, is feeling better and I hardly ever see him crib anymore. Ocean also owns one of your Plymouth Fancy Stitch Padded Hunter Bridles. It fits him well and is an excellent quality bridle for the cost. We use it every day and for shows, and it has held up great. "

"Quincy is my seven-year-old American Warmblood. I purchased her as an unbroken four-year-old and immediately put her on Farrier's Formula® Double Strength via SmartPak to help correct the messy feet she inherited from her 1/2 draft dam. Between that and a great relationship with my farrier, she has four excellent feet now and a wonderful coat and mane as well. In her fifth year, Quincy started tying-up in relation to her heat cycle. SmartPak was called upon again for Regumate to regulate her cycle, and Metaboleeze to support her muscles during the recovery period. I'm thrilled to say that's behind us now, but I still trust SmartPak to keep her in top form with her current combo pack of Farrier's Formula® Double Strength and SmartLytes. We're on track to make our 3 foot debut in the Hunter ring this year and I've placed my confidence in SmartPak for everything from supplements to show clothes and tack. Miss Q and I are in your debt!"

Audrey & Charm from Kennesaw, GA
Audrey & Charm
Kennesaw, GA

" We have owned Charm for 3 years now and she is the most wonderful addition to our family. My 7 year old daughter Audrey is autistic and she was responding so well to equine therapy that we wanted her to have a horse of her own. Audrey has come leaps and bounds with her speech and social skills since owning this special mare. She will talk to anyone regarding her horse Charm and has responded to this therapy better than all the others we have tried! Audrey can help with Charm's feedings by easily including her SmartPak in with her grain. Charm gets BioFlax 20, Strongid C2x, Smart MSM, and Simplifly. This makes feeding time much easier for her to handle by herself and gives her a great sense of accomplishment. Thanks again SmartPak for making life a little easier for my little girl to take care of her horse."

Laura & ZucCarlina from Farmington, NH
Laura & ZuCarlina
Farmington, NH

"ZuCarlina, my pony mare, has been with me for 18 years, and is now 22. The last few years have been rough for her; after foundering in December of 2005, and being diagnosed with Cushings, she came down with a minor, mysterious lameness one day in her paddock May of 2008, and by July she had lymphangitis in all 4 legs, spent 10 days at the hospital, and was diagnosed with suspensory desmitis. She started to heal, and then in November flared up again, and her vet recommended euthanasia based on her radiographs, showing "failure of suspensory apparatus, migration of sesamoids, luxated pastern and severe broken axis of p1, 2 and 3" of her left front, and her ultrasound showing "severe swelling and disruption of fibers in superficial flexor tendon and severe swelling of suspensory ligament." As she still had a fantastic attitude, was eating well and still enjoyed life, I opted to do the anti-inflammatory and stall rest route, with small amounts of hand walking. "

MacKensie & Butter Scotch Kisses from Union, KY
Mary H. & Zackly Right
Traverse City, MI

"My first horse was a flea-bitten grey Arabian gelding named Zackly Right. He was given to me by a fellow horseperson in the spring of 2008, at which time he was 27 and I was 15. I took great lengths to learn about equine nutrition, so I could provide him with the best care I could afford. This August, Zack started colicking, and what we thought was just a sand colic turned out to be something much more serious. After 3 days of fighting, his intestines finally twisted, at which point Zack was humanely euthanized. Upon palpation, my veterinarian also found that he had a basketball sized mass in his abdomen. The diagnosis was a metastasized melanoma, which had been slowly growing for many years, undetected by anyone. He was the healthiest horse on my farm, and he never had even one "senior-day" as long as I had known him. Even blood work weeks before was picture perfect!"

"My name is April and this is my daughter, MacKensie, on her pony, Butter Scotch Kisses. We have Kisses on Farrier's Formula to keep her hooves healthy and her coat gleaming. We love your product and the ease in which it is shipped automatically to our barn and in the correct quantities. It is easy to feed and with their names printed right on the pak, and we know she is getting the correct supplement and at the correct dosage. Only the best for Kensie & Kisses!!!"

Cathy and Hinke B & Marije

"My name is Cathy Zine and these are my best friends, Friesian Mares, Hinke B (14) and Marije (12). They have been with me for five years and have taught me so much about horses and riding dressage. They are also teaching others in a dressage schooling program, from small children to senior citizens, to learn how to ride as well as showing with students at intro, training, and 1st level. When asked, they can put on their advanced hat and show with their trainer at 2nd and 3rd level. Such versatile and kind girls. Everyone loves them. I keep them healthy and moving well with Tractgard, Omega Horseshine, and Recovery EQ. I love them so much! SmartPak has been great for them and the barn! I cannot ask for better service and products!"

Derby & Betty
Ocean Isle Beach, NC

"As a child, I only dreamed of owning a horse. Then one day when I was in my 30's my dream came true. I was able to finally afford one of my very own. Derby was a Valentine's Day gift, and although buying a 2 year old as my first horse presented its challenges, it has been worth it!! Derby is now almost 8 years old and I cannot imagine life without him. SmartPaks allow me to monitor what "extras" I feel he needs to keep him healthy and happy. Also, SmartPak makes buying his supplies extra easy. We do not live near a tack store so supplying Derby with other items such as blankets, halters, conditioners, shampoos, and much more from SmartPak certainly helps! Thank you, SmartPak."

"In March of 2008 I had gotten a text from my trainer saying "8 year old Oldenburg looking to come your way.” I was going to be looking at an 8 year old Hunter that I only needed to pay for shipping from Florida. It seemed unreal. Sure enough, I had sold my first mare and within 3 weeks, my big, beautiful 8-year old, 16hh, chestnut Oldenburg was here. I had never seen a mare like her. She was a show finalist and had competed around the country."

Leigh-Ann D. & Peppy

"I had been riding for sixteen years and wasn’t sure if I’d ever be able to afford my own horse. This past summer, with the support of my trainer, my husband, and my father-in-law (who gave me Peppy!), my dream finally came true. Peppy was shipped all the way from Texas to Connecticut, where he started his English career as a four year old. I immediately started him on Omega Horseshine to help grow out his pitiful tail and improve his hooves, and grow and improve they did! Shortly after, I noticed he was getting irritable when I touched his belly or tightened the girth. Suspecting stomach ulcers, I started him on U-Gard, and the symptoms went away completely. Then, eight months after owning Peppy, he was diagnosed with a torn suspensory ligament."

"My name is Jennifer, and I am the proud new owner of a wonderful 25 year old Grey QH named Dante. We live in Topsfield, MA and Dante is boarded very close to my home with 5 other horses. Our story is very special because I first met him as a half- lease in late July for my lessons at a local barn. His owner, who had previously rescued him, could no longer afford to keep him at the facility due to financial limitations. I was heartbroken to think that he may be moved or given away, since I had already fallen in love with this sweet gelding"

"Brief Statement, or Statement as we call her, is my 10 year old Thoroughbred mare. She is my best friend and my partner, whether we are showing, trail riding, or just spending time together in the barn. SmartPaks have really helped her out. I am new with SmartPaks (just started her on them this year), but they are simple and easy and I don't have to worry whether or not she is getting the right dose."

"My mare, Eurythmic, is my best friend as well as my partner in competition.  She has carried me successfully from the local hunter shows all the way to a brilliant career at licensed dressage shows today.  I love her more than you can imagine, and thats why she gets nothing but the best of everything, including SmartPaks."

S.Strafford, VT

"Kila Erda is a fifteen year old Norwegian Fjord mare. She is a pleasure driving horse, trail horse, and lower level dressage horse. I started using SmartPaks when I went off to college about 10 months ago and left her at home. They have made life so much easier for us. All we have to do is open one up and dump it in her grain. Plus, when we are out of town, I don’t have to worry that anything will get messed up or that she isn’t getting her supplements. I truly do not know what I would do without them and how I ever did it in the past. Erda's SmartPak contains Accel, Quiessence and MSM 99.8% during the summer when she is in work."

Leslie Ann J. & Danny
Richmond, VA

"I have spent years looking at Thoroughbred rescue sites, shopping and hoping, that one day I could take the leap and give one of these precious creatures a good home. I just wanted a friend and companion with whom I could learn and grow, and maybe even do a little bit of showing while having a lot of fun. I saw a boy on the TRF (www.trfinc.org) site who was interesting, so I contacted Kim at Montpelier Station, VA and asked if he was still available. Dance Vice, aka, Danny, has been with me for almost seven months now. I fall more and more in love with him every day. We have had dressage lessons, we are learning to jump, and we head out on the trail at least once a week. He’s been the top money raiser at a breast cancer fundraising trail ride at our barn, and is even going to “camp” to try his hand at eventing."

Courtney J. & Orion
Aberdeen, MD

"Orion is a 10 year old Thoroughbred gelding who I bought as a not-quite-3-year-old off of the racetrack. He wasn't cut out for a career as a racehorse, but he is thriving in his current career as an eventer. Last season we reached one of my lifelong goals of competing successfully at the Preliminary level! Over the past 7 wonderful years, Orion has accompanied me back and forth from college and he has lived at barns in 3 different states. We have been using SmartPaks for about five years because they make it so easy to be sure he is getting the correct doses, and automatic shipping makes sure that we never run out. It has been great not having to deal with multiple supplement containers or messy baggies when we move around. Orion gets 1 scoop of Equinyl Combo, 1 scoop of Grand Hoof and 2500 IU of Vitamin E. Next month, he will also get 1 scoop of Apple-A-Day electrolytes to make sure he stays hydrated for the upcoming eventing season. I am looking forward to many more happy, healthy years with my buddy!"

Mellisa W. and Cantilator
Bremerton, WA

"The Pros say they can't survive without SmartPak, and as an adult amateur and mother, I have to agree! With a family to care for, I am not always able to make it to the barn, so SmartPaks have taken a load off my mind, not only when we're home, but also on the road. They're so easy, even my 2 year old daughter can feed for me. By the age of four, "Cantilator" had finished his first career as a race horse and was jumping with all four feet--quite literally--into his next adventure as an event horse. I knew he'd had some issues with digestion on the track, so I immediately pulled out my SmartPak catalog and checked out what was available--not to mention in my price range. After a bit of trial and error, we found the perfect set up for him: U-Gard for digestion and keeping ulcers at bay; E-Se-Mag to insure he's getting nutrients our area is deficient in; and Cosequin SP to make sure he has the longest possible career. Just a year off the track, we are preparing for our first Preliminary horse trials in the spring, with our sights sent on a 1*. With SmartPak's great selection and outstanding customer service, I know Tilly's dietary needs will always be met! Thank you!"

"I am the proud owner of this lovely 27 year old Arabian stallion. Cajun Mandate+\\, "Cajun", is still competing, in large part due to the added benefits I can offer him with the help of SmartPak. As he ages, his needs differ from the other 35 horses in the barn. With SmartPaks I know I can keep him looking and feeling great and staying sound, while attending to his individual needs. At age 26 he was again named East Coast Champion in Trail! We also enjoy judged trail rides together, and I am confident with SmartPak's help, that we can keep going that extra mile!"

Andi C. and "Blizzard"
Gray, GA

"Blizzard came into my life in July of 2003. One day, when I went out to see my other horse, I saw this poor, dejected little Paint Horse standing all by himself in the corner of the pasture. He was 300 pounds underweight. Just a skeleton held together by rainrot. He had cracks in his hooves that were half an inch wide all the way to his coronet band. He had warts and ringworm all over his face, and had a hole in his withers that went down to the bone. It was severely infected. The look in his eyes said 'just let me die already'. Nobody had taken care of him for a long time. Everyone said there was no hope for him. I thought differently. Something clicked when I reached out to touch him. He nickered at me. Ears pricked, he streched his nose out to take in my scent. Over the weeks, his eyes began to shine, as the rainrot scabs fell off, a beautiful red dun sabino coat was revealed. His ribs weren't as noticeable anymore. Slowly he became a majestic animal. When he was sound and healthy again, I started him under saddle. He was amazing, never offered to buck or rear."

"This is my horse "Baby", which is a nickname, as he was four and a half months old when we adopted him. His real name is Frank Sinatra. Baby is a PMU, and he was rescued by New York Horse Rescue, (the most wonderful people in the world)! He is from a ranch that makes the drug Premarin, an estrogen for hot flashes. This drug is made from pregnant mares' urine, and my Baby and many others are the unwanted by-products of this industry. By the way there are alternatives to Premarin, and in fact I take one, the name is Cenestin, a plant derived alternative. In a routine blood test Baby was found to be deficient in Vitamin E & Selenium - looking online I found SmartPak. We have been using SmartPak for four years now and the ease to order and the great people that work there make it very easy to use the SmartPak system.  Also the packaging is very easy to use, no more measuring and putting in baggies. Just look at him in this picture and you will see how healthy he is, in part due to SmartPak. Baby has been under saddle for seven months and is becoming quite the STAR around our barn. Thank you for the opportunity to tell people about these PMU babies and my Baby, Frank Sinatra!"

Mercy, Multi-Champion Miniature Horse
Rochester, NY

"Mercy is a 13 year old, multi-champion AMHR registered Division A American Miniature Horse who has completed the criteria for the AMHR National Performance Hall of Fame in three disciplines (Hunter, Jumper and Halter Obstacle), was certified as a Pet Partner animal assisted therapy horse through Delta Society (her application for renewal is pending), and is a volunteer in the greater Rochester, NY area that visits schools, nursing homes and other civic events. She appears in The Book of Miniature Horses by Donna Campbell-Smith, Straight from the Heart II published by EQUUS/Primedia and will be appearing in A Cup of Comfort for Horse Lovers, to be published by Adams Media in April 2008.

Due to her show schedule and her public appearances, SmartPaks are the best thing for us when we are on the road or at home. I don’t have to think about measuring the supplements that she and our other American Miniatures need. She is on Strongid C2X and Grand Coat currently and both keep her healthy, happy and looking her best."

"This is my Paint x TB gelding Apollo, he is currently residing at Encore Stables in Candler, NC where he has just completed a year of hunter training, he loves to jump anything I point him at, he continues a strenuous training schedule and his SmartPak helps to keep him going. He has been on SmartPaks for the year he has been at Encore and I am extremely happy with the results I have seen, I no longer have to buy seperate supps. and measure them into containers every week, and I love the convenience of being able to change his SmartPak contents at any time. I currently have Apollo on Glanzen 3C which is awesome! His hooves have vastly improved, his coat stays shiny and I love the calmer in it; the best supplement any horse could get! He is also on Garli+C, this works great as a natural fly repellent."

"This is my Connemara cross pony, Star Cruiser. Cruiser was imported from New Zealand several years ago as a pony hunter. He has been been through some very serious medical crisis including melanoma surgery that went wrong, septicemia, founder and RER. He is now on the road to recovery and this previous pony hunter has found a new career in dressage and as my best friend. He is a magical pony and has amazing heart.

He is proud to be a SmartPak customer for over a year and currently uses LinPro and Quiessence, made for EPSM, RER and founder horses. SmartPak is a wonderful company that responded to my email request to carry these products! I couldn't believe you did that! I have never dealt with a company that was so accommodating and quick to respond.

We may not be competing a the highest levels, but considering all my little guy has been through, I really think he is a star!"

"My name is Audrey and I am 10 years old. These pictures are of me and my 9 year old palomino pony named Taxi. I have owned him for about a year and he loves his SmartPak! Since he is a pony, he gets very little grain. So his SmartPak is like a real treat to him and he eats it all!

It has Recovery EQ, Quiessence, Gold as Sun, and Omega Horse Shine in it. These keep his joints healthy so he can jump and his coat pretty for the horse shows. My mom likes SmartPaks because they are so easy that even I can give them to him. Well, that is the story of my new pony."
